Popin Edits is an author-friendly editing service. Founder and creator Anne Jacob holds a Master of Arts degree in Education with an emphasis on curriculum and instruction.
Anne’s editing experience spans a wide range, from self-published authors to prominent publishers. While many editors specialize in only one aspect, Anne employs a comprehensive approach to the edit. Each project is tailored to the author’s individual needs based on an initial manuscript review. Additionally, she has volunteered as editor for the Florida Authors and Publishers Association since 2022 and currently serves as the organization’s president.
Before turning her lifelong passion for the written word into a full-time editing career, Anne was a music teacher for over thirty years. During that time, she earned and renewed the prestigious National Board Teaching Certification, worked as a mentor and trained scorers for National Board Certified Teacher portfolios, and was honored as her school’s teacher of the year three times.
Her hobbies include fishing, boating, camping, hiking, playing the piano and guitar, and portraying a pirate at living history events with her husband and best friend, the renowned award-winning author Robert Jacob.
