editorial staff of several prominent publishers.
Before launching her editing career, Anne was a music teacher for over thirty years. During that time, she earned and renewed the prestigious National Board Teaching Certification, worked as a scorer-trainer for the NBCT Project at Pearson Education, and was honored as her school’s teacher of the year three times.
Her hobbies include fishing, boating, camping, hiking, playing the piano and guitar, and portraying a pirate at living history events with her husband and best friend, the renowned award-winning author Robert Jacob.

Anne Jacob respects the author’s voice and makes the author’s writing shine through a straightforward, comprehensive editing process.
From the planning stages to proofreading, Anne guides authors through every phase of editing to achieve an excellent, superior-quality manuscript.
